My cartographic style is a unique blend of GIS analysis, map design, storytelling, and support for environmental efforts.
Why storytelling? I love stories! Storytelling has become an important part of my map production as it is about discovering and unearthing the stories that want to be told.
- Just like spatial data!
But above all, design-driven data visualisation is a vital part of my work. Read about the communication power of well designed maps here.
“Geographers have the overall view, everyone else has a perspective.” – This is what my uncle used to say when he taught me how to read an atlas. I was able to find out the most amazing details about how the environment and humans are connected just from the visual information on one page. This is how I found my passion in geography and ultimately in GIS, because maps can give everyone the overall view! This is exactly my goal when I create maps for you.
